Manuel Antonio Castillo (born April 23, 1992) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball middle infielder currently playing for the Worcester Dirt Dogs of the United States Baseball League (USBL). He stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 211 pounds. He bats and throws right-handed.

Life and career[]

A first round pick in 2012 by Worcester, Castillo has spent his entire career with the team. Castillo has had an up-and-down career so far in five seasons; his 25 HR in 2018 ranked him second behind Jesús Carrillo for his position, yet he followed that up two seasons later with a 0.200 batting average in 655 plate appearances, with only a 0.332 SLG, a 0.580 OPS and a 0.230 BABIP. He has hit 30 doubles twice in his career (2018 and 2019), and is a few hits shy of 600 in his career.
