Keanu Bruce Oshiro (born September 19, 1994) is an American professional baseball middle infielder currently playing for the New Orleans Outlaws of the United States Baseball League (USBL). He stands at 6 feet 0 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He bats switch and throws right-handed.
Life and career[]
Oshiro was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 19, 1994 to Jimmy and Rowena Oshiro. His father is a second-generation Japanese-American while his mother was born in the Philippines. He was drafted in the 4th round, 104th overall in 2014 by the New Orleans Outlaws. Oshiro is the only active major-league USBL player from Hawaii, and one of only three across all major and minor league levels (along with Akoni Tamashiro and Kekoa Kealoha).
