The USBL regular seasons (1-12) are 162 games long, with the top 8 records in each conference advancing to the playoffs. The 3 division leaders in each conference automatically advance and are sorted, by record, to determine seeds 1 through 3. Seeds 4 through 8 are given to the non-division leaders with the best records in each conference.
