Season organization

The USBL regular seasons (1-12) are 162 games long, with the top 4 (8 prior to Season 13) records in each conference advancing to the playoffs. The 3 division leaders in each conference automatically advance and are sorted, by record, to determine seeds 1 through 3. Seeds 4 is determined through the Wild Card Game.

Each playoff series has a defined length:

Wild Card: Single Game Divisional Round: Best-of-3 Conference Round: Best-of-5 Championship: Best-of-7
