Benjamin Thomas Christensen (born August 14, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Syracuse Griffins of the United States Baseball League (USBL). He has previously played for the Charlotte Lions. He stands at 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 209 pounds. He bats and throws right-handed.
Life and career[]
Christensen was born in Des Moines, Iowa on August 14, 1990 to Michael and Rachel Christensen. He is one of two USBL players born in Iowa, the other one being Memphis Blues infielder Jake McVey. Christensen was drafted in the 5th round, 140th overall in 2011 by the Charlotte Lions.
